Two times the ABBA, all in one night!
Mamma Mia! (2008) follows Donna, an independent hotelier in the Greek islands, preparing for her daughter's wedding with the help of two old friends. Meanwhile, Sophie, the spirited bride, has a plan. She secretly invites three men from her mother's past in hope of meeting her real father and having him escort her down the aisle on her big day.
Mamma Mia Here We Go Again is both a prequel and a sequel. The plot is set after the events of the previous film, and is intersected with flashbacks to Donna's youth in 1979 with some scenes from the two time periods mirroring each other.
